Intro to Yin Yoga (RJ1)

An event every week that begins at 7:30pm on Thursday, repeating indefinitely
Yin is the practice of stillness and targets connective tissues by working gently into the edge of postures through long holds (between one and ten minutes). Suitable for all levels, Yin promotes a sense of slow, deep unwinding and release. By focusing on the ligaments, bones, and joints rather than the muscle, we allow ourselves for a deeper sense of openness to promote a healthy body and mind. Yin is the perfect balance to our daily and physical lives, which tend to focus on muscle engagement.
